Colorblind - An Eye For An Eye 9+

I paid for game so don’t have the issue with adverts everyone else is raising.

Issues I have are buttons to close together particularly left and right. Also I found buttons so close to bottom of screen would often bring up control centre thinking I was swiping up causing the game to pause at worst moment.

I did often see ‘glitches’ when stuck on level after a while the things you are trying to avoid would not remain in there normal place meaning you had to exit the level and start again.

Other than that was very addictive and enjoyable game - just sad it was so short and completed all levels and bonus level after about a week. Hoping as I’ve paid for the game more levels will be added? Please?

This game captures the look and feel of GameBoy games really well. The graphics are nicely designed and the trial and error of levels is usually more on the fun side than the frustrating one. I do find the controls a bit of a pain, as of course without physical buttons it’s easy for your thumb to slide over on to the wrong one. This happens a lot with the left and right buttons and I’m just glad I don’t have fat fingers. Might be worth considering widening the space between them.

The most frustrating element of the game is the Final Fantasy adverts. They’re incredibly obnoxious and frequent. They’re even your reward for completing a level! The lack of respect for the player and the gaming experience in this regard means I won’t be playing for very long and I won’t be paying for premium. It would only be taken as encouragement.

The game is short and inconsistent. Many parts of the levels rely on luck without which makes the level at that point impossible and making you restart. Hitboxes are pitiful considering the game being 2D and low resolution. The ads are a complete nuisance, they are far too often and often impossible to close without leaving the came or waiting about 30 seconds. If you want to while away an hour or two this game is good if you want a game you won’t delete within a few days look elsewhere.
