Version 3.94

We're constantly making the Communia experience better for you all. This update squashes a bunch of pesky bugs:
- Fixed an issue with the mood board
- Fixed a loading issue with newly created personal journals
- Fixed a big bunch of styling issues

Stunning and necessary

I think this is such a great concept. It really ties in self reflection, community and goal setting in an aesthetic way. I love how enjoyable it is so use because it just looks sooo lovely, the design is really really great. It has all kinds of pages and features that really help you take a minute for yourself.

The only downside for me is apparently your journal entries are only private if you subscribe - which is annoying because I want to see if I enjoy the app enough first and if I keep up the habit of using it, but I’ve been putting off the journal aspect (which is the most appealing to me!) because I will be overthinking what I would be ok with people reading, which doesn’t seem the most effective type of reflection and processing!

Must-Have

I’ve had this app for a little over two days now. After getting accustomed to the interface (which is stunning), and becoming familiar with the vibes of the community, I can’t get enough of this social media platform.

There are some minor tweaks and adjustments which can be made to make the user experience more appealing. Such as having the notifications change colour perhaps once tapped on. There are also some minor screen glitches that occur when changing categories or viewing profiles however is expected in a new app.

I’m excited to see how this platform grows, I think its offering a really welcoming and different environment not available anywhere else for women and those struggling to have their online voice heard on other social media platforms.

The visuals on this app are so beautiful!

Probably the best-looking app I have on my phone. The colours, the palette and gradients were all why I downloaded it in the first place.

There’s something so comforting and whimsical about interacting with an app where every single button, detail and text design is ethereal.

It feels like someone went inside of my brain and picked out all the things that would stimulate me visually and then decided to create a beautiful app from it.

Now, all of that aside, I think the app has a lot of potential. Boatloads of potential. At the moment it’s pretty laggy, and the social aspect needs work (but I’m sure this will improve naturally over time).

The journal + mood tracking is a wonderful feature though, and how pretty the app is makes you compelled to use the features. If I could find who exactly came up with the art direction for Communia, I’d have to send them bouquets of flowers on flowers. Hands-down the best thing I’ve seen on my phone in years. Perhaps ever.
