Compass Heading displays only the essential information you need for orienteering:

- Red background when aligned with magnetic north
- Flashlight for night time use
Note: App will not have full functionality on devices without a magnetometer, such as the iPod Touch 5th generation or below.

Does what it says
A simple but hugely useful tool. No particular embellishments (buy out the adverts though), and seems to work even where there is no apparent network. If you know how to use a compass then I highly recommend this.
North position required
I was setting up a weather vane and needed to know exactly which way north was. Excellent app and easy to use made the job so quick to do.
