3, Current and cumulative scoring
4, Colour highlighting to let you easily identify which parts you got right or wrong
5, Every question has an explanation
6, Active hyperlinks to useful web pages, videos (requires active web connection to work... rest of the app does not).
7, In app browsing for these hyperlinks

With over 880 five stem questions this is the cheapest revision practice you will have. I am adding SBAs almost daily and have added over 110 so far (mostly clinical). Follow us on Twitter @conquestfrca to keep up to date with developments.

Written by the entire anaesthetic team at conquest hospital, this app is designed to help those revising for their primary and final exams. Textbooks are expensive and cumbersome to carry round. Save yourself the money and hassle.

Every question features an explanation to help your understanding develop. If you see something wrong please report the problem to me to via the "problem report" button so i can update the database. This feature will only work if you have setup email on your iPhone.

The database is stored on the iDevice so although an internet connection is required to download updates and view the hyperlink, the rest of the app will work just fine without a connection.

Want a free copy!?! No problem, just email me 10 SBAs with explanations in clinical, physics, physiology or pharmacology to conquestfrca@hotmail.com. You will get a certificate for your CV emailed and a mention here as a second author. Also, at the end of your explanation you will get an author credit.

Winner! KSS best oral presentation at royal college of Anaesthetists training day.

Dr PS ,

Needs improvement - but comprehensive

This app has a large collection of questions covering many of the MCQ exam topics. And they are similar to the exam. Great for on the go, few spare minutes revision.
However the interface is clunky. There is no scoring system to check progress. The way each question is answered (just says true answers at the end of questions) is not easy to refer back to the question. And the explanations are sometimes careless with many spelling errors. In some cases there are no explanations.
Has the potential to be very good. Hopefully an update will address these issues.

Great app

I've been using several mcq books and apps for the frca primary written paper. This has been the best resource I've used so far. It's similar to the frca app but lets you mark the questions as you go and gives a running score and, most importantly, seems to have fewer errors. It has about 700 questions do pretty similar to the books available but about 30quid cheaper!

Good tool

Very informative, concise and an excellent tool to use to revise. Much better than some of the text books I have purchased at £25.
