Description

Conquest is a version of the classic board game where you combine risk and strategy to conquer the world. You can play solo or multiple human games against the randomly selected computer controlled opponents, each with their own personality and strong artificial intelligence.

You can play solo games against the sophisticated computer AI, multiplayer games on a single device, or network games between friends over a local WiFi network.

This version is fully functional and free and if you enjoy it please buy the extra maps to support further development!

No good on iPhone

iPhone version:

Obviously the author has worked very hard on the programming on this game, and the graphics are similar to the classic board game. However, it is annoyingly difficult to 'swipe' your army to attack a neighbouring territory. So much so I pretty much have given up playing it...

I also found the dice roll to be distinctly biased against the player (me!) as has been written before in reviews.

I had the Hasbro version of this game on my Blackberry and this was a better game all round, but it was too easy at times as they were too bias for the player. There must be a program that can just naturally randomise a dice throw, seriously?

Lastly, you can't leave a territory empty in 'Risk', and that takes some getting used to in this game. Who are you fighting if a territory is empty? Surely you can just walk into an empty territory?

Summery: This seems to be an almost complete game with plenty of potential. Just a few fixes and I'd be prepared to pay a couple of£'s (or $) for it. As it stands right now, it's frustrating to be so close but so far.

Make reloading clearer

Like other past purchasers. When I first bought this it was called Conquest. Now you have changed it to Conquest+ maps. Confusingly Conquest still appears as the first item in searches and shows the download symbol in App Store (signifying you have previously bought it). No wonder customers like me get annoyed when it doesn’t restore past maps and only discover the issue when they go to write a complaint.

Put the info in the Conquest app description, assuming you can’t get restore function to work for previous purchasers.

Thanks

Addictive!

I love this game. I have bought all the maps and wish there were more. I like how you can change the settings to either chance or number based. There’s a few quirks that are a bit annoying, eg you can’t zoom in much, so small countries are hard to select sometimes, you can’t zoom out much, so crossing big seas takes patience.
Please make more maps! :)
