Addictive!

I love this game, I’m so addicted. The animation and detail is great. I’m on the sweet house cafe and love it.

I am near giving up though as the levels are so hard to pass! I’d say I’m pretty quick with this game by now but it’s literally ridiculous how difficult it is to pass some levels unless you add extra diamonds which costs money. The other aspect of the game that really irritates me is on some levels you get penalized if you tap on the wrong food & it says you’ve served the wrong food to customers! So difficult to be that careful when you’re trying to play so fast. Definitely think this aspect could be taken out as it’s frustrating and annoying!

I’ve not played this game for over a week now as I’m stuck on level 30 of the Joy Coffee shop. So annoying that it’s made so hard as now I’m completely unable to play any further.

Very Enjoyable, so far then not

Update, see further down. I’m usually very critical of this type of game, I’ve played many and found them eventually to be too greedy for players money. This one is more proportionate, and so far is great fun., and working well for me. You can get pretty far by watching endless ads, which if you can tolerate it, is one strategy to get through for free. You can opt out of many of the ads by paying a fee, and you can pay a weekly subscription if you’re a big fan of this kind of thing, to get boosts and energy. I’m happy to pay for some boosts from time to time, and that’s working out so far for me. I say “so far”, because I’ve found in the past that the developers often up the demand for money further on in the game, so I will update if I find that’s the case
Ok, so update. This one gets really grabby around the middle of the third level/restaurant, the sweets. It won’t let you pass any key level, and many non key, without using one or more boosts. Same old, same old. All the upgrades in the world won’t help once the developers have their eyes on you money, live and learn.
Final point, we trust that the game is accurately scoring our efforts. I now watch as games do this, and can confirm that this one does not accurately score all levels. Enough said.

Hi Chef, we agree with you that some parts of the game may be quite challenging. And, the entire game is free to play and in-app purchases are absolutely optional. All the levels are balanced in such a way that they can be completed without in-app purchases.

Spoilt by impossible levels

I don’t mind the ads. I don’t mind watching an ad for more coins or gems, at least this game gives you a choice in this and the owners have got to make a profit after all. But what I don’t like is getting a level which is impossible to pass without using a boost or several boosts in some cases. Take the mini cafe, an extra game so you can win coins, boosts and gems. At level 3 unless you use at least 2 boosts you will not pass. You actually have to spend more than you can win to pass this mini game! So what is the point of it? As per normal with this type of game throughout you will find levels impossible to play unless you have the money ( no prob you can make enough coins watching ads etc for free) or gems to buy boosts ( a problem you can’t make enough gems earning a max of 6 for a double advert and a boost costs 50. Yes 50 gems !) This game is fun, simple, just challenging enough and addictive and could have been 5 stars if not for, as usual, greed which has been allowed to interfere and spoil the game play.
