Cost Split helps you share costs within a group of people where each person can add expenses from their own devices thanks to the cloud sync.

A Must Have App
We’ve been using this app for many years for every group event and holiday. It is very reliable and very flexible - you don’t even all have to have an iPhone, so long as someone has one they can enter expenses for anyone in the group. I’m yet to find a real-life cost split example that cannot be recorded accurately in the app. There is no registration required - groups are shared simply by giving your friends a short key (we usually WhatsApp the key), it works in multiple currencies and allows uneven splits. One very minor enhancement request - I’d like to be able to toggle the “who should pay next” feature on/off; if you don’t use this feature you have to change the payee name on the expense (rather than the payee defaulting to the owner of the phone).
Improvement request
Great app! Even bought the full version. Great to share the households. One improvement request though if possible. We make monthly transactions also to have an idea of monthly expenses. At the end of the month, we need to delete all the transactions one by one which makes the process really cumbersome. I was wondering if there could be developed an easier way to do it like grouping transactions under one name and then removing the main folder removes all the transactions related to it something along those lines? Would be much appreciated! Thanks!!
The world needs Apps like this!
Planning out first group ski trip for a couple years (thanks covid!) and have just forwarded this app to my brother in laws. Noticed it only has 47 reviews - a brilliant and reliable little app like this should be on everybodies phone! Simple to use, but hugely effective, when you’re away with a group of friends or family, sharing costs. Make your life less complicated and download!! 🙂
