Description

Quit porn and stay free with Covenant Eyes. Covenant Eyes device-wide accountability helps you harness the power of relationships to stop watching porn and protect the ones you love.

WHY ACCOUNTABILITY HELPS YOU QUIT PORN

A lot of companies fighting porn start with technical solutions. They believe access to porn is the only problem. Our philosophy is different.

Over 20 years of helping more than 1.5 million people live porn-free has shown us…

- Porn use isolates people and damages relationships.
- Healing from porn use must start with relationships and accountability.
- Our technology facilitates close-knit accountability relationships that help you live porn-free.

With Covenant Eyes, you invite someone you know and trust to hold you accountable and see your device activity. When you allow someone to see how you're using your devices, it changes how you use them.

TWO APPS. ONE SIMPLE PATH TO VICTORY.

Covenant Eyes works alongside our brand-new Victory app to facilitate world-class accountability.

The Covenant Eyes app quietly monitors your screen activity and captures periodic screenshots. Your privacy is critical, so we blur the screenshots on your device to ensure your personal information isn’t readable. This populates an activity feed of your device usage in the Victory app that that you can share with your trusted ally.

The Covenant Eyes app also provides optional protection through porn blocking, forced SafeSearch, and customizable domain block and allow lists to help you avoid triggering websites and content. Install the Covenant Eyes app on all the devices that need to be monitored and protected.

Victory is the companion app to Covenant Eyes. It shows your device activity in an easy-to-use activity feed and alerts your chosen ally if concerning activity is detected. Victory also includes specially designed mini-courses to help you and your ally navigate the journey to quit porn.

What’s New

Version 7.1.0

Covenant Eyes Version 7 is rebuilt from the ground up. Here are the highlights!

- Updated the Safari check notification to open the appropriate fix screen when tapped
- Updated Safari Extension instructions for iOS 18

Noble goal but nothing works

There is nothing about this programme that would make me want to persist with it, having failed on my laptop and phone.

Difficult to use and isn’t robust

Set up was unnecessarily complicated and wasn’t very user friendly. The app seems to be quite buggy as during the set up I was signed out randomly twice. The main problem with this app it isn’t compatible with the in built blocks on the screen time iPhone settings, which are free. As soon as you turn the blocks on, the app disappears? The accountability feature was very appealing to me and my partner but it seems like all you need to do is to switch off the VPN in the settings and the app no longer functions? It’s as simple as flicking a switch and takes 15 seconds.

To anyone struggling and wanting a solution I suggest that you use the screen time settings and have your partner or someone else set a passcode on it. One that is random and you cannot guess. That way you can’t simply disable the filter. It’s also not a bad idea to incorrectly put the passcode in deliberately multiple times as it tracks the number of failed attempts. That way if you were to guess the passcode and disable the blocks, it would be evident as the number of failed attempts resets to zero, and your accountability partner would be able to see you have disabled the blocks. This is free and seems to be more robust than this app that costs over £10 a month.

Too pricey and doesn’t filter properly!

I don’t use the support phone number so paying nearly $11 a month for an app (very soon to be $12 a month!) is in my opinion FAR too much money. I really don’t see how it can be so costly for the app producers, once the software of the app is up and running, to have this app running in the background to maintain the package with the 10s of 1,000 of dollars that must be rolling in each month. The software works quite well though still has blind spots that don’t filter properly so I am seriously thinking of changing to a less overpriced app with another company that can do a similar thing for half the price.
