Description
The CoverForYou TravelMate App allows you to access all your travel insurance, gadget insurance and car hire excess insurance policies from CoverForYou in one place. You’ll be able to make a claim, buy a new policy and access your customer zone to make changes to an existing policy. If you’ve joined our loyalty club you’ll also be able to access all your benefits and rewards via the app.
When you are travelling you’ll be able to:
- Get direct access to our Emergency Medical Assistance Service when needed.
- Make a claim against your policy
- Use our translation service (including offline functionality)
- See the latest Travel Advice from the FCDO.
- Access information about Major Travel Incidents
- Find numbers for Emergency Numbers in the country you are visiting.

Policy documents not available via app
Received an email saying I can download the policy documents via a link…. Or just dowload the app to access policy docs. Downloaded app which has policy details BUT NO policy documents found anywhere……would be much easier if all docs and details would be available in one app and would not have to save it separate and have it in an email ….
Not sure why the bad reviews
Worked absolutely fine for me. You log in with your email address, it emails you a one time password, key that in and set a pin, and that's it. You can even set face ID. Not really much you can do wrong assuming you have fingers, eyes, and at least 3 brain cells. Once in, the app is really good.
Good but……..
Useful to a point but would be much more useful if the policy documents were available via the app but they don’t seem to be, just the basic policy and contact information is available.
