Lost access to all my issues when I stopped subscribing

I subscribed for a year and then stopped. Now I can't access any of those issues that I did subscribe to. If this is the way this subscription is meant to work, the I was not made aware of this when I took out the subscription!

Dreadful!

DO NOT BUY

App was replaced with new app. Impossible to restore purchases I’ve made. ‘Help’ instructions don’t work. Quite ridiculous, and an expensive debacle.
I feel cheated.

Doesn't work

Cant get this to do anything. Cant report aroblem either, just get an faq page, very frustrating.
