One of the best mobile games I’ve ever played

Criminal Case (Grimsborough) is honestly one of the very best mobile games I’ve ever played, it’s a shame that in 2017, Criminal Case (Pacific Bay) got released which in my opinion is a giant cash grab and only was successful due to the giant amount of success from Criminal Case (Grimsborough), anyway, I’m gonna stop speaking about the giant cash grab and instead talk about the original Criminal Case game, I’ve only gotten up to Case #4 in total but the long, extensive stories of the murders, such as Case #3, makes Criminal Case (Grimsborough) an amazing game that at it’s time of release, was more or less one of a kind in terms of games, it still is a masterpiece and Criminal Case (Grimsborough) is a brilliant game that I recommend to everyone, even if they’re a person who’s only just gotten a phone and hasn’t played mobile games before due to how good it’s User Accessibility is. I highly recommend Criminal Case (Grimsborough) to literally ANYONE, the 5 Star Rating isn’t an exaggeration on my behalf, I honestly think this game deserves 5 Stars, not 4.5 Stars, it truly is an amazing game and I highly recommend you play it.

Awful waste of time

This game wastes so much time it's unreal, it'll have you search a crime scene, give you massive points for pointing random objects, usually only one being relevant. Requires you to get stars to move the case along which takes forever because even though it gives you lots of points for solving crime scenes in 12 seconds (my average) you have to search a crime scene several times just to get stars with it serving no purpose to the investigation. At one point the coroner told me the murderer was 100% male and then it added a woman to the suspects list :S it doesn't give you enough energy to farm stars and they don't carry over from earlier investigations. Takes real time hours for forensic teams to do anything, won't let you solve the murder until you've got every piece of evidence which it spoon feeds you but then requires stars you don't have to analyse which you get by doing the same crime scene over and over with no relevance to the investigation, which after your initial search can take 2-3 times to get one star and you only have enough energy for 5 goes, energy regenerates slowly. It took me 3 days to do level 2 because it requires about 15 stars to do everything required, 2-3 goes per star earned, enough energy for 5 goes, enough energy for another go regenerates after 40 minutes real time and average 3 hours per forensic analysis of which there was 9 I think. Total waste of time this game.

One if the best if it’s type.

To begin with the first few levels are quite easy and quick. The downside is pop up adverts can become annoying. However for a nominal fee you can choose to play without them. If you do you still have option to watch a few adverts to boost your energy supply.

After a few levels you can see a pattern emerge in the way it reveals new scenes. Once you crack that you can progress through the game much quicker. The game will offer you energy boosts and the best bet is to save them until you really need them. When you have finished a chapter don’t waste your excess stars on unlocks or cards, swap them for energy boosts when you unlock a new case.

I get why some reviews complain about adverts and the game bei f slow but if your smart about how you go about you can avoid those gripes and enjoy the main point of the game to find objects in scenes.
