CRIMO 12+

I love this game

CRIMO is one of those games where you could sit mindlessly on it for hours, of course there are things that limit you from doing that but it’s never too long and I’ve personally never found the wait frustrating. This is definitely one of my favourite games and while it’s not the most difficult picture cross puzzles I still find it very entertaining and even challenging. Overall this is a wonderful game and is definitely worth a try :).

Boring and dull, good for beginners

As someone who has played many picross games and would almost consider themselves a pro at them, this game was definitely not challenging enough for me. I found the beginning of the game a chore to get through due to the easy puzzles and slow gameplay, although I do see how beginners of picross may enjoy this and actually benefit from the amazing tutorial that the game has.

It would be great if the game had more difficult level designs and puzzles eg. Bigger early levels, maybe time trials that force you to act quick. Finishing levels is not satisfying nor rewarding, as puzzles are all random instead of actual pictures. It would be great if there was a level of customisation you could do (eg change the colour of the tiles) from “points” you gain through completing the levels.

Solving crimes themselves are also quite boring as its as simple as waiting for the game to solve it for you. Would be great if there was risk and guess work involved where the player had to actually solve the puzzle themselves and find the correct weapon, motive, actor through a series of hints and storytelling.

Overall, this game is great for beginners who have never played Picross, but those looking for a challenge that involves lots of thinking, this game is not for you.

Interesting take on puzzle cross

Looking at the other few reviews I didn’t think it’s be good, but I’ve enjoyed playing. I’ve played a few picture cross type puzzle games in the past so I’m used to the concept and I found this take on it fun and different, especially the ‘fire rounds’ which I found were the most enjoyable since they were challenging but still fun. Game hasn’t frozen at all, only reason not for 5* is I thought the crime investigation part would play more of an interactive role rather than find the clue, wait for it to be investigated and then the answer is given, as I thought part of the puzzle would be for you to figure out the culprit, but overall it’s a good game, recommend trying out :)
