I am not a very technical guy and only needed this for a very basic task. That is to load my play lists from my iPod or iPad onto the Automix feature and just let the app play the playlist automatically . I couldn't work out how to do this at first , it seemed more complicated than another DJ app I'd used before and I also asked my son to have a go but he couldn't work it out either. I emailed the support desk and didn't get a reply so emailed again a couple of weeks later and they responded 7 days later with a very helpful video attached to show me how to do it. It was actually quite simple and I had nearly done it but just failed to do one thing but now, with the support desk help I find it easy to do this and it is perfect for what I need. I do children's parties /discos and it is just what I needed.

I purchased the full upgrade of this app before 2018, So I have been using cross dj for a good few years now.I managed to learn and make use of most of its features, which I found adequate for my purposes. Just recently I noticed the app became bugged, and I was advised to reinstall as it may have been a software issue. Upon re installing I noticed that I was unable to restore my upgrade that I had purchased initially. I then noticed that the developer now request a subscription, it said next to the subscription that existing customer are entitled to a 50% discount. I tried this option and I was charged the full amount. To be fair I shouldn’t have to do this, as I have already paid for these features. The problem is, I invested heavily into iTunes purchases to use specifically on cross dj. There was no warning of a coming change from paid upgrade to subscription and I feel this is very dishonest and misleading by this company. I do not wish to have any subscription at all in my life, it’s a trend that is becoming ever more popular. I shall be putting in a claim for the music I have invested in and making a serious complaint to this company. PLEASE DO NOT ENCOURAGE THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR , as owning actual physical media and equipment is clearly more better for you than subscriptions and digital media. It can be taken away from you at any point, even though you have paid for it.

Decent DJ app

So far I have uploaded a few of my tracks and learnt how to mix between them thanks to the intuitiveness of this app. Really aesthetically pleasing design with good features, IAPs haven’t been intrusive yet and are clearly explained on this page. The only negative at the moment is when I try to connect to soundcloud go+ to bring in a library of tracks I get a error message.. otherwise I would rate this app 5 stars and I hope this gets fixed.
Frustrating

I find this app very frustrating due to the errors. Have completed various mixes (3hrs+) eventually, but seems like each time I come back to it on iPad I have to endure issues. Two main errors occur: 1) when recording, it sometimes records too fast. You can see the recording timer going faster than it should. When you stop and listen to playback, the whole thing has recorded too fast and clearly faster than when the songs were originally being played and recorded.2) Some songs stutter and don’t play properly. When I stop the recording, play other songs, then come back to the problematic song, sometimes the same happens and sometimes they play OK, so it’s not like the song is corrupted.I’ve lost multiple hours of mixing/recording to these issues. Pretty much, I have to delete the app and reload each time I come back to it, sometimes multiple times. Very frustrating when I’ve paid for the top option available. I have a recent release I-ad with up to date software, so it’s this app.
