Cubasis LE is the compact version of Steinberg’s mobile multitouch sequencer, providing the same look and feel of its bigger brother Cubasis. Ratings and Reviews
Trustworthy, stable software for pro recording
This has never failed me and I have produced professional audio recordings that are now on Audible with Cubasis. It is easy to configure, easy to use, and easy to name and export recordings, and has a live monitor for audio recording and is easy enough to use with a stylus on the touch screen to do edits during recording sessions. I can work on this for 8 hours at a stretch with no glitches and it has never crashed or hung which is essential when spending time doing professional recordings. I am leaving a good review as I hope this continues to be supported and people continue to use it - it is especially good on the ipad mini which I use to record in my recording booth, with a Yamaha-Steinberg AI and the apple USB\power connector.

Cubasis LE2 upgrade to cubasis 2 not transferable in v3
I was happy to see my in app purchases transferred from Cubasis 2 (previously upgraded from LE2 with the in-app upgrade option) however the upgrade from LE to full didn’t transfer which makes this pointless as I can’t use the import feature or any of the other full features. I don’t see enough improvements to want to pay again for cubasis by upgrading the LE version so I won’t be using this unless Strindberg can fix this upgrade problem.

The new Cubasis 3 Full Feature Set IAP has been introduced with a 30% discount recently, and has to be purchases separately. Thanks & stay healthy, Lars
This lite version is a waste of space
What is the point of making a lite version available if it will only work with some approved hardware. Lite versions are supposed to be cut down versions of the full app that entice you to make the full app purchase. The discovery that the behaviour of this lite version, ie you get 30mins and then everything is reset with no ability to save what you’ve done, instantly makes me want to delete it from my iPad. There is no way I would invest time into something creative if it gets tossed away. Come on Steinberg, stop being cheapskates, make this app a cut down but fully functioning version of the full app. You might get more sales that way. I’m now going to delete it from my iPad without even trying it so it’s highly unlikely I’m going to ante up £50 for the full version.
