GETTING STARTED:
You must be an existing Cumberland Internet Banking customer to use the app and have previously registered your mobile phone number with us.
To get set up, you need to complete the following steps:
- Download the app and select 'Register' from the main menu
- Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
- Enter your Internet Banking Customer Number and Access Code
- We'll then send you a security code to the mobile phone number you have registered with us. Enter the code to verify your device.
- Finally, you'll be asked to choose and confirm a 5 digit passcode to enter each time you log on. You can also set up Touch ID or Face ID on compatible devices.

We will not charge you to use our Mobile Banking app, although use may incur data use charges from your network provider.
As well as iPhone, the app is compatible with but not optimised for iPads.

Feel so much more secure now that more info has been added also more safe from scammers.Great that all branches of the Cumberland are still open as so many banks have closed.I’ve been a customer of The Cumberland building Society for many years and at times needed to speak to a “human” which is a plus.The staff are always polite, helpful and have always resolved any issues I may have had.Certainly deserves 5 stars.

Had issues with the app today, locked myself out twice and this was a user fault not an app fault. Both times I had to phone and ask for support. Both occasions the team were helpful and got me sorted. The second call on the same day, the lady talked me through for to reset my app pin. Kind and patient team.

An essential app if you are a Cumberland customer; I use it daily to check balances, make internal transfers and to send money (although you need to set up any new payees from a desktop first). It’s also great for sending messages to the bank and notifying them when you wish to use your debit cards when traveling abroad. Heartily recommended.

If you’re a Cumberland account customer this app is an absolute must. I pay my bills and transfer money to different accounts from it all the time. Also helps me keep track of my spends and view my estatements. Never had one problem with it, brilliant.
