Smart Cut
Smart Cut from Workshop Buddy it the single best app that I have EVER found for using in our small bespoke furniture workshop.
Using Smart Cut saves us not only on materials cost but more importantly on labour time which is invaluable when your time is limited on a project.
If you’re interested in a cutting list optimiser that can be converted to a PDF and printed this is the app for you, GET IT NOW!!! I will never go back from using this app its awesome!!!
Brilliant Workshop Aid
Excellent app. Quick and easy to use. I’ve been using it for about 6 months on all sizes of projects for maximising both sheet material and standard lengths.
Poor Optimisation
In theory this a great tool for working out how many sheets you need for a project. Unfortunately the app doesn’t for fill that promise. I used it twice, first time the cuts were horribly positioned which would have made the off-cuts next to useless. Second time it said I needed two sheets when I only needed one. Again the bad positioning lead the app to believe I needed a 2nd sheet. It was useful for visualising the sheet and how I could make the best cuts myself.
