I have been generally very impressed by Cyberghost. Speeds are excellent at home and somewhat expensive testing indicates to me the fact that I am
VPN is itself well hidden. Streaming on my home computer also works well.
My main reason for buying VPN is public WiFi. Auto protect works well as an alert but struggled with networks which have a landing page.(click to consent before enabling an internet connect)- in these circumstances cyberghost gets confused and just locks EVERYTHING network related. On a phone this is a problem
But on a laptop maybe not so much. Basically don’t select “always connect” turn off auto protect or “ask” works as a reasonable alter that your device has connected to s network connect to the network and the enable cyberghost manually.

Awesomeness
This is a great vpn, works perfectly on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, always used in background and hasn’t effected my battery.
Had a few hiccups, strangest issue ever... so I’ve paid for the service on day one after about a week something went wrong, it said I wasn’t a paid user!! So I turn the vpn off and head to the website but it wouldn’t load up! As if I was blocked from CyberGhost server so I downloaded onion vpn and managed to to finally get on CyberGhost website, checked my account it was fine so I reinstalled the app and logged into the app again while using onion vpn, now everything is working BETTER than before because now I’m able to pick a country and it just seems more reliable. When I thought I was blocked by the servers maybe the website was having an update or something, either way that was frustrating especially not knowing what’s going on I had to work that stuff out.
Overall I recommend this especially while they have the discount offer available. ✌️

I’ve been using this cyber ghost VPN for years now and the pc version is great 99% of the time but the mobile app is where it gets annoying, it 50 50 sometimes if it’s going to work or not and I’ve noticed that it greatly reduces the speed of uploading and downloading, but the main issue is the loading of the app when network has changed, it just loads and loads without no information for sometimes 10 minutes, in the time I’m able to access it or cancel the attempted connection so I’m having to uninstall and then install it again after a few days when I’ve had time too cool down,
If you give a cancel button on the loading page we’d all be very great full, but the connection is also horrid when you go from WiFi to mobile data, so as I said before, a cancel button or a timeout function of like 5 minutes would be great,
All in all though it’s a great app despite it few issues.
