Description
The Daikin Service Application has been launched by Daikin Airconditioning UK to support service engineers in the air conditioning industry working with Daikin VRV, Daikin Altherma and Daikin Split and Sky Air Equipment.
The application covers various functions to help field engineers to fault find Daikin equipment such as,
Fault Codes
Additional Charge Calculations
Replacement PCB Dip Switch Settings
Pressure Transducer and Temperature Thermistor Checks
Also various Outdoor Unit field settings including,
Fan Coil and BSVQ Box Count Check
Refrigerant Recovery Setting

When it works it’s great but it’s not worked for a month
I can only currently only see fault codes as I cannot sign back into the app as it states “cognito user pools are not in” some folder or sorts, sort it out please as it’s a pain - cheers
Great idea, poor App/System execution
The idea of controlling devices remotely is not new, and it has been done by a number of companies, like Samsung, Belkin, Drayton, to name a few.
The app setup is straight forward, and it takes minutes, however when you try to use the app, I don't think Daikin thought of the customer or the experience one has to go to, to navigate and find how to control the air-con. The "out-of-home" concept is just outdated and most of the time does not work! I have spent hours, yes hours trying to solve how to remotely connect with my system, even the tech support does NOT know how to solve the issue.
DO NOT INVEST YOUR MONEY ON THE DAIKIN AIRCON IF YOU WANT TO CONNECT REMOTELY TO IT, FIND ANOTHER MAKE!!!!
