Daily Budget Original Pro 4+

Pros: this app is super intuitive to use, it is secure, interface looks great.
Cons: graphs look 'meh', especially the pie chart with legend box sitting right on top of the chart, can't see a thing.. why is this app £4.99 and the upgrade of the free app £6.99..? Not possible to change icon of newly created categories

Separate Pro version and upgrade to Pro should have the same price - if the issue still persists, please, kindly drop us a screenshot at support@incentify.de. As to the icons - you can select an icon while creating a new category - just tap the icon by default and scroll down to see the variety of icons available for selection!

I’ve been using this app to manage my spending as I work and travel on my gap year and it has really helped me make the most of my money.

It’s really simple to use, and nice to look at too (both things that make me less likely to not bother noting down an expense 😜). The more complex features like spreading out big payments over time are really useful too.

One thing I would say is that it’s not always 100% intuitive how to some of the less core features (such as adding recurring expenses, that took me a while to figure out).

The savings feature doesn’t seem to work for irregular incomes which is a shame.

Also I’d like if there were some way to spread daily surplus over the future rather than just outing it all on to the next day.

We are grateful for your kind review and high recommendations and will try to make the app more intuitive! Besides, we will add this "Adaptive Daily Budget" option and ability to calculate savings from irregular income in one of the next versions!

I like the app in principle and paid £9.99 to upgrade to a Pro version. Tried restoring purchase but it did not take effect. Was unable to add Recurring Expenses - app was stuck at a limited number of expenses, hence financial picture was incorrect. 3 emails to support and one comment on Facebook - no solution after 3 days. Very disappointing performance, and waste of time.
P.S. Support finally got in touch. They accept shortcomings, suggested using Big Spending feature to show and calculate future recurring expenses - an inelegant solution. They accept the app is “work in progress”. Not worth £9.99 in my opinion.

We are sorry for misunderstanding – we haven’t accepted that our app is “work in progress”, it is a finished product. Though, there are definitely some areas, which we want to improve, and we are working on this, besides, we add new features regularly. As to restoring our Pro version – it can be done via iTunes Family sharing. As to Recurring expenses – if your Recurring expense starts in future, it will appear after the corresponding cycle starts. So if you set your Recurring expense to start in August and your current cycle corresponds to July, you will see your August Recurring expense only after your August cycle starts. We are currently working on improving this app area and making it more transparent in future updates. We are sorry to hear that you don’t like our PRO version and have already sent you the instructions on how to get a refund – we are sure that you will find a budget app that will fit all of your requirements perfectly!
