The daily mail has helped me cope I lost my husband a year ago in April. No doctor identified it As Covid in desperation I tel 111 it was too late. When they came my husband was delirious!! they told me they would not resuscitate him. I was in shock,I could not speak to him in the hospital. It took me five weeks to gets funeral that I was not allowed to go to::. I was licked up for twelve weeks, no one could come and sit with me and hold me and comfort me .and not knowing anything about our finances or how to do online banking or anything else to run a home as my husband did everything . We had no children and I am 81years old and had to learn technology to survive , I lived in a nightmare and still do. The daily mail was the only thing I used to let me know what was going on in the outside world. We always bought the daily mail and the mail on Sunday. My finances since my husbands death are greatly reduced and I can no longer afford to pay for them. I am grateful for the free Mail on line I am able to get. Though I do miss the full paper. We knew each other for sixty two years and they were the best years of my life I miss him every second of the day. Thank you I am reading this to help me sleep and keep up with the outside world Thank. You hazel Mills
Favourite paper
optimistic regular human
I find the daily mail newspaper and also the mail online the best layout and the most readable newspaper . It’s the best midrange paper. It was rubbish when you had an anti brexit editor and constantly trying to brainwash your readers to vote to remain . It was insulting and unethical to be given a filtered one sided view of a subject to force your own political gains . You need to report the factual events evenly . That was the only time I stopped buying your newspaper in 60 years. BLM is a dangerous organisation . There is only one race the human race . I am from a multicultural family . This is not a racist country . Stop deliberately causing conflict . The woke brigade are being manipulated by dangerous people who want to destroy the Uk and most likely Power driven and financially motivated . We should be proud of our country and it’s multicultural society . I don’t want to hear about black people or white people Just humans . We shouldn’t be segregated into boxes of religion race or colour . Stop promoting hatred and intolerance to create stories . A lot of people are not reading or watching the news at all anymore especially the young because It’s deliberately doom mongering . The news is deliberately Only focused on negativity and not looking forwards with hope . You newspaper’s and reporters all have a lot to answer for . Your the best of the bunch but you could be much better you should be more ethically motivated for harmony . Creating stories and exaggerated stories of hatred and conflict to sell papers is not working . That is why you are selling so few now . It’s spectacularly failed .
Ruined by Ads and decrease in UK content

Although not my usual paper of choice I've always said that for Functionality, the Mail Online app was one of the best there was. However, more and more I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the way the ads interrupt its use. Ads used to be small and unobtrusive at the bottom. Now they pop up all the time when scrolling through photos, often cannot be cleared for a long time (or with increasingly harder to find close ad crosses). More and more they have loud music or voiceovers, which require immediate volume adjustment while waiting for the ad to clear. My other main gripe with the app is that despite being set to UK news, the stories are losing their uk focus. Yes world news is important but remember that the target audience is in the U.K. - headlines or articles in dollars, articles that clearly would be classed as "local" news in certain US states are not relevant in the UK. Often with key UK stories pushed down the order or barely mentioned. Sometimes I just want to find out what's going on. Not trawl through ads or pick my way through articles pandering to a US audience.
What subscription?

I've paid loyally for a monthly subscription - the app started glitching and throwing me out so I deleted it and reinstalled it. I need to find a completely different app and format which can't be a coincidence. Every time I try and login it loops me back around to the login page every time I try and restore via Apple purchases I'm told that I don't have an active subscription. I've contacted the help email and was told that I had been contacted a few few days before and all was fine when I hadn't and can I just say all is not fine - I can't access the content that I'm paying for and this has gone on for about a month. I've created a new tickets. I've done everything that I can possibly do from a tech side that could be fixed on my side and it is definitely a Daily Mail and their new application that of course the issue but their customer service is shocking. I'm just waiting for the subscription to leave my account again this month as there's no way of cancelling it as in all other worlds there is not an active subscription but the Daily Mail tell me that I do have an active subscription subscription and all is well. Sorted out Daily Mail I will be going elsewhere for my reading.
Bug fixes.
Stability improvements.
