Version 9.2.4
We have of course been tinkering in the background to make sure our app is functioning in tip top form, but this update is all about bringing back a highly requested feature. Yes, swiping articles is back! You can now open an article, swipe left and read the next article, or swipe again and again, there is no end to the swiping fun one can have, oh… and we even track your position in the home feed, so when you are done reading, we’ll put you right back in the feed at the last article you looked at, Nice! Stay tuned, as we have much more in the pipeline.

I’ve lived in Kidderminster for 47 years now and I miss the Record I’m glad I found it on line, it’s so refreshing, I have cancer and don’t know how long I’ve got left. As long says I can get more news from Glasgow and the rest of Scotland I’m happy. Keep it up.
App just as crap as the paper itself
Lazy journalism at its finest!!! They say there’s more than one way to skin a cat, well there’s more than one way to write the same story over and over, the sports journalists are probably the worst in the media. Nothing decent to write about, well let’s roll out the same story filled with inaccuracies and spelling mistakes galore, I don’t have this app for the news it could feature, I have it to entertain myself with the rubbish stories and no doubt mis quotes or even down right crap they print, why do they persist with the fake news segments at the bottom of each page that basically want your information by way of cookies on your device? that’s right money, it’s just an indirect way of selling your information!!!!
Nothing changes
Looking back at previous years reviews it seems that nothing has changed. Same complete lack of proof reading before publishing just exposes the continued apparent lack of education and quality of journalism. I live outside Scotland and only really read the sports section and am continually embarrassed by the published articles. Same old inept content of spelling mistakes, poor grammar, multiple repeats of the same content already stated in other articles or indeed paragraphs in order to fill out the print sections. Basically the lowest standard of sports reporting you are likely to come across anywhere. So, come on, get it together, show some pride and stop embarrassing us Scottish readers by the rubbish printed by The Daily Record .
