Great content, frustrating playback issue

Of course if you are looking at this app you know the content is going to great. The app is mostly good apart from one very frustrating lack of an important playback feature - resuming a video you didn’t complete.
Most of the time I can’t watch videos in one sitting so a functioning video resume feature is essential. I often pause the video and leave the app open. Usually I come back a few hours later, reopen the app and it resets mean I loose my place on the video. The video never appears in the ‘continue watching’ section which is weird considering videos I have finished appear there. Each update I hope the issue has been fixed, but no. This should be a standard feature- please sort it out soon.

Great but minor changes needed

The Daily Wire app has an excellent user interface and is well designed, without wanting to comment on its content - though this is great too.

There are just two features which need to implemented to benefit user experience. First, when watching a show, turning off the screen or exiting the app pauses the show, when there ought to be a way to flip from the video to just audio, enabling background listening. Secondly, a way to bookmark episodes that weren’t finished so they can easily be resumed would be a very welcome addition.

These are minor issues though (which I hope will be addressed. Overall I am very satisfied.

5* Content, 1* App

Just signed up and got the app earlier today. It’s annoying to navigate your way to each section and find the content you want. Once you start watching something, if you leave the app and come back, then you have to navigate your way back to the content you were watching and start the episode from the beginning again! The app should have a continue watching section or at least save your place on the video… It’s clear that the daily wire and their developers and trying to do too much at once with this app. Articles, podcast, video streaming, live streams, and (randomly) a shop (that doesn’t work). I love what you’re doing, but please, do it better. After reading some other reviews it’s clear you guys aren’t listening to peoples suggestions.
