Dave is a redneck on a rampage to reclaim his stolen trophies from the town bully, Clyde! Dangerous Dave is back in his classic adventure in the Deserted Pirate's Hideout. Wish there were more games like this

Sometimes the old school games are more fun. Really needs the purchase (not too much) so you don’t have to keep on restarting from the beginning!

If you like this then you’ll definitely like Super Dangerous Dungeons.

Decent adaptation

I wasn’t sure how well it would play on a touchscreen but it works well enough, certain movements are a little tricky to pull off. There is a bug that comes up sometimes where the enemies (and worse, their venom) freeze in place. You can shoot the enemy creature but the venom hangs there and if it happens in a corridor essentially ends your game as it stays put through respawns. It’s happened to me multiple times on level 6, and it’s pretty frustrating.

Otherwise if you liked Dave back in the old days, you’ll probably enjoy playing this!

Classic, old-school platformer, for better or worse...

Ahh, the rose-tinted spectacles of nostalgia...
Sometimes you have to take them off & judge a game's playability by today's standards.

This is a nice trip down Memory Lane (back when it was measured in kilobytes) & it's nice to pop in every now & then, but I wouldn't want to live there.
