Description
With the ever-blending worlds of online and offline, our students face exposure to potential risks every day, such as cyberbullying, harmful content, or fake news. That is why we are implementing our new David Game College App, an empowering tool for the whole College community to help keep our students safer online and educate them on how to be good digital citizens.
The App includes an ecosystem of safeguarding tools, such as:
- A wide range of current online safety content covering topics including social media apps, online trends, and bullying.
- CPD-certified courses, including Mental Health Awareness and Safeguarding Level 1 and 2.
Alongside these helpful tools, the David Game College App is a one-stop shop for all of your College needs, with integrated links to staff and student portals, direct links to College news, and a dedicated role for UFP students. The App also provides new and unique ways to interact with students and their parents and guardians through polls, surveys, and digital notices.
Daily safeguarding updates, safeguarding alerts, and weekly articles will also help to ensure that everyone within the College community is up-to-date on the latest changes and developments in the ever-changing online world.
By introducing this new digital toolbox of safeguarding measures and resources, we look forward to building a safer College community, online and offline, together.
