DAZN seem to be responding to feedback from NFL Game Pass subscribers

I’m a long-term NFL Game Pass subscriber. I’m very disappointed that DAZN doesn’t seem to support Chromecast in the UK, which is how I stream NFL games to my TV. It also doesn’t seem to allow you to download videos to watch offline or skip to specific plays. This is really disappointing for a service that costs the same as the old platform. I hope they are able to fix these issues before the start of the 2023 NFL regular season on 7 September.

Update (8 October 2023): The improvements in recent weeks have been good. After Week 1 of the season, when I was unable to watch one game on Apple TV and RedZone on my laptop, they’ve now fixed this issue. My main complaint is that they don’t edit out that ads from full games like the previous version of NFL Game Pass. This is annoying when you’re watching it on demand. I think they now support Chromecast but I’ve switched to using Apple TV anyway.

This app is RUBBISH

The app is buggy and tiresome to use. They’ll restrict access to the content I’m paying for because “too many screens are active” which is never true and I’m paying for two screens anyway!! The app constantly harasses you about privacy notices, and automatically places your cursor and highlights strategic boxes so you agree to give away your data by accident (they’ll never ask you again once you do). How about don’t steal people’s data you lizards???
They’ve obviously invested heavily in anti VPN software at the expense of the app actually working correctly which has the lovely side effect of me not being able to use the service I pay for when I’m on holiday!!
I use this against my will because they have taken over the NFL game pass and monopolised legal ways of watching the NFL. This service is a MASSIVE downgrade from what NFL game pass provided on their own app.
DAZN are a slimy organisation who are detrimental to the sporting world and they have a rubbish app. If you happen to be reading this prior to downloading the app or purchasing NFL game pass I’d strongly advise you simply find illegal streams and save your money. The app is simply not worth it. The problems that come with illegal streams which in some cases are actually higher quality, are much easier to deal with compared to the unbearable grind it is to use the DAZN app.

Absolute Scam

I in anticipation for the rematch between Usyk and Aj purchased a DAZN subscription under the full impression that I would be able to watch the fight but I unfortunately found out that not only did I have to pay to watch the fight but I had to pay AFTER already paying for my subscription. This information was an even bigger insult when I found out that this absolute robbery was exclusive to England (my country) and parts of the EU. This was not told to me when I signed up for the £7.99 monthly subscription nor was I told afterwards or when looking at all the hyping up DAZN was doing for the fight… no I had to google when the fight was going to start, go on to the DAZN website and scroll to pretty much the bottom of the page before finding this information obscured and in brackets as if it wasn’t important information for you consumers to know.

This is an absolute scam anyone singing up for this joke should be told this information not expected to go and find it out themselves.

My advice is if you live in Europe or the Uk don’t even give this app the light of day or a single thought it isn’t even worth a single payment of 1p let alone £7.99 a month.
