Great reading... when it works
The content on this app is outstanding. So too is the ease of use and navigation. Most of the time you can simply sit back and enjoy Decanter easily on your phone, or check the wine reviews whilst on the go, perhaps in the supermarket or your favourite wine shop.
However, i‘ve had this app nearly for a year now, and i‘ve been forced to re-install it half a dozen times as periodically the content refuses to load. Having contacted their very helpful technical team, this appears the only way to rectify the problem.
If you can get over the pain of doing this every so often.. then you‘ll love it, like i do.
Buggy
Agree with all the other users. Content is great, when you can access it. The app crashes, a lot! Not sure why they should have this problem, displaying content should be child’s play.

Abysmal app - got subscription as a gift but app is atrocious
I received a Decanter Premium subscription as a gift recently, the app has been absolutely horrendous to use from day 1. Articles not loading, the screen freezes all the seconds after I swipe or scroll. I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro and the latest version of iOS and I don’t have issues with any other digital publication apps - Decanter is a quality publication, whoever is leading on the digital user experience needs to do some serious testing because the UX on the app is woeful - I won’t be renewing and will consider offline subscriptions instead.
