Description

Decay Tree visualizes the whole decay chain for almost any known nuclide. Decay modes and half-lives are graphically shown. In addition, details like spin, specific activity, and emitted particles are tabulated and graphed.

What’s New

Version 2.2

In this version the database has been expanded to include decay modes taking multiple steps at a time. New features also include:
- A new hierarchal view mode
- A branching ratio slider, to highlight the most probable decay paths
- Continuous spectrum graphs
- Spontaneous fission fragments for some isotopes

In addition, some visual bugs have been fixed.

Great app for decay tree information

The new version is great, and I have unlocked the data tables in the app. There’s a small bug, in that dark mode prevents the visibility of some isotope names, easily. Hope the developer corrects this, other than that it’s great for a rad nerd. Developer has confirmed an update will address this very minor issue. This is a great tool for decay tree information, and the additional data is useful for my applications. Great work

Developer Response ,

Hello Loonaticrunner,
I am glad you like the app! The coloring issues related to dark mode will be resolved in an upcoming update.

Kind Regards Gustaf

Edit: With version 2.1 Decay Tree now supports Dark Mode

Info display

Nice little app, but some of the isotopes have tabulated decay energies and others have graphical spectra. There doesn’t appear to be a logic of which has what or an obvious way to switch between them (which would be great).
