Defense Zone 12+

Purchased the game prior to this release so i am very pleased with the developers releasing an update with new levels and turret options. Played and finished the game on the old version and loved it so im over the moon with this update! Other than the low price and high quality of the game the other remarkable aspect is that the developer actually is very responsive to comments and suggestions. This has become one of my alltime favourite TD games and i looks forward to more updates or games like this from this developer.

If you're into Tower Defense, this is quite an addictive, fun version. Simple to operate and good graphics, yet can quite often be frustratingly hard to win.

There are, however, a couple of niggles which prevent it from being 5 stars.

First of all, a message comes up at the start of some levels about new weapons. However, this lasts less than a second, so if you blink, you might miss it.

Secondly, when you finish the last wave, it cuts straight back to the menu. Some sort of "Finished Level" screen ight be a nice addition.

Thirdly, when you click on a tower/weapon, a menu comes up on the right of the screen, blocking out some of the playing area. If there was a wider margin to the playing area, this wouldn't affect it.

Last, you cannot view the comlete playing area in one go. Even at minimum zoom, you still need to scroll from to to bottom quite often. As this deselects any towers you might want to inspect, this can be a little annoying.

These are minor niggles, though, and didn't sto me from playing for about six hours straight, right after I downloaded it!

Tried the light version. Loved it. Like many said, its your standard defense game, but atleast i can play this anywhere like on the train or bus. Enjoyable game. Killed my boredom!
