De'Longhi COFFEE LINK 4+

Good for creating your own coffees but not all parameters can be adjusted. Recipes on the machine specify milk frother settings but I can’t see how to specify them in my own recipes — maybe in the next release!

I love the coffee from the machine, it’s a great machine despite the obsessive water cleans and the low spouts, so why is it let down so much by the app. Connecting is in itself a challenge and when you do finally connect, it forgets the next time and you have to do it all again. When/if you do get on, options are limited, why can’t we load updates of new coffee drinks, why can’t we turn off auto off, why can’t we adjust how often the auto rinse activates, this way we could even set it to make the coffee in the morning. I find the app so bad and limiting, I would go as far to say that had I known, I would have thrown my grand at a different machine.

Every adjustment is sent to machine before you can do something else. 2 mins wait for this. Has to find & connect to machine every time app started, another 3+ min wait. 2 user favourites set on machine, yet only 1 app can be connected to machine at any one time. I have to sign out of app for other user to sign in. Can't get another device to find & connect to machine. Set my favourites in app, switch to other user & start setting their favourites & it puts them on my favourites and deletes what i had set for me. Nice glossy happy photos of people in app. Clearly they don't use it. Another example of marketing and sales greater than the app they write.
