DentalMonitoring 12+

This app has been brilliant for my son who’s aged 13. All dental monitoring for progress of aligners is done via this app using a connector which attaches to your mobile and using a mirror you video your teeth and send to orthodontist. No trips back and fourth to the dentist every few weeks, saves so much time, as doesn’t have to leave school every 10 days to visit orthodontist. Literally takes no more than 5 minutes to complete once you get the hang of it, quick, simple and hassle free. Able to communicate with dental practice via the app as well…brilliant app

I think this app is a great however a big enhancement I think should be introduced should be the ability to pause the photos being taken when scanning. Currently you scan the left then right then centre of the mouth, however the time between photos is too quick so you rush to move your camera into position. If a feature could be implemented so that you could start the photo being taken once you’ve manoeuvred the camera into position.

Also, currently my first scan is without my Invisalign in. I think the first scan should be the one with Invisalign as currently I have to take them out, scan, then put them back in and scan again. Would be easier if my first scan was with them in then I only have to take them out once

Very easy to use app to monitor my Invisalign treatment reducing visits to the dentist. My previous iPhone 11 fitted nicely into the scan box and the app took clear pictures. On upgrade to iPhone 13 the pictures are now blurred - unsure if this is because of the fit with the scan box causing the photos to be out of focus/poor camera lens/light misalignment or if the camera settings just need to be adjusted? Progress photos are now less impressive as the current image is blurred compared to original - would be good to know how to configure the scan box/camera settings based on phone type 🙂
