Description
Depicus Wake On Lan allows you to remotely wake a computer or other device that comply with the Wake On Lan protocol either on a local network or over the internet.
Full information about Wake On Lan can be found at https://www.depicus.com/wake-on-lan/welcome
NB: Wake On Lan and Wake On Wan will not work to wake up a computer using only wifi although you can use this application to wake up machines if you are connected to wifi or 3G/4G. Also note that some Mobile Operators block UDP ports lower than 1024 over their networks, try using a higher port number e.g. 4343

What’s New
Version 3.01
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Totally re-written for 64bit in Swift. This version is for those who have moved to iOS 11 for which the current app does not work. Some functionality parity with the old version is currently not present but will return in future updates.
Ratings and Reviews
Useful app mainly works
This is a nice little app that you can use to wake up your desktop server. Works successfully for a local network but not for wowlan or 3G. The instructions mention selecting higher ports for 3G but issue seems to be the broadcast component. Another free app (m*cha) gets around this issue with a setting.
Works Perfectly (once your network is ready)
After reading previous reviews, some saying it simply doesn’t work others saying brilliant, I can clarify that if your network, the machine you want to wake, your router and your ISP IP address is all configured properly then it does work perfectly. I can now reliably wake my PC from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
However if you don’t know how to set up a dynamic DNS, how to port forward, how to prevent your routers ARP cache from clearing the addresses of the machine you want to wake, how to activate WOL in the BIOS of your machine, how to enable the power options of your LAN adapter to allow WOL then you’ll be fighting a losing battle. That is no fault of the app, the app is simply one cog in the gearbox that makes it all work. And when they all mesh correctly it’s perfect.
Absolutely brilliant
But would it be possible to 1. save multiple bookmarks for the same MAC address (i want one local and one remote wol for the same MAC) 2. make it possible to name the bookmarks. 3. password protect the app (in case of loss of iphone i dont want to provide people with all the info to hack into my machine. Many thanks
