Design Masters 4+

I’ve waited to leave a review until I’ve played this for several weeks (ummm… might be months, actually) and I love it! I’ve actually played this so much I’m eagerly waiting for the devs to design more rooms! I find the Match 3 levels really good. Some are incredibly challenging, even thought marked easy, but the game is so easy and quick to load that I can just login in quickly and try again at one that is stumping me - there’s a real sense that, yes, this can be solved if I’m just patient enough. And no, you don’t need to spend money on spades and so on if you don’t want to, just tough it out and keep trying!

I love the story (though TJ really irritates me - he’s rather intolerant of anyone who doesn’t have his views!) and the design element is fantastic. I love that when I choose to add a sofa, I get the cushions and throws etc so the design looks really complete.

Just one question - at the beginning of the game we have a sort of mystery as to why our ‘company’ is losing customers. What happened to that plot line? Has it just been forgotten? I wanted to know the answer!

I have been really enjoying this game. As someone who is very into interior design this game provides a relaxing way to casually stimulate that passion while engaging my brain in a somewhat luck based puzzle. The different spaces that you as the designer work on is varied and not of the design options are completely terrible, which allows for more creative concepts to be explored to an extent. Although the puzzles can become hard at times I’m familiar enough with these kinds of games to know that I will eventually figure it out.

My only issue with the game is that I can’t go back to previous levels/clients and redesign the space. I also can’t view the previous designs I worked on in full screen and they are quite small in the book. I would approve it very much if this became an option/feature for replay ability and exploration of concepts.

I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I really liked the design element but the games became impossible without using diamonds which of course cost. I don’t mind paying if you got some value but the diamonds quickly go and it appears the games get harder so the only way up is parting with the cash. If the games allowed you to move up a little quicker I would have been addicted and spent more cash......but as it is think it’s a bit of a money drainer so I’m out
