Deskscribble 4+

This has replaced all other apps such as stickies that I use just to quickly jot down some figures or work out a quick calculation on screen. I use it to do little sketches before I commit them in bigger apps like photoshop and illustrator. I take text notes and so on the list is endless. The app is nearly perfect, hence the four star rating, to earn thst fifth star I'd like to see the app retain its current settings in a preference file as every time I start it up I have to select the smallest brush size and ink colour. It's a minor niggle but one that I'm sure could easily be fixed.

it has replaced stickies for me for taking quick notes, jotting down numbers I can't copy and paste, it speeds up sketching out ideas because I can draw on top of what I see now rather exporting a file.. going into photoshop and never looking at it again cause its not 'right there' .. and because I have it on all the time I actually find myself doodling more for no reason.

There is a second or so slowdown whenever you start that gets annoying and the slowdown is always there when you move away from the crayon colours.. keeps it from a full five stars

I've brought this to replace Desktastic that isn't supported in OS 10.7. Everything is great, I didn't experience any of the slow down issues reported by previous reviewer, but I have just one thing I'd like to see it do. I'd like to be a able to leave my Scribbles open, in the background on the desktop but to have other programes sit in front, surely thats an obvous requirement? (unless i'm missing somthing) also to have support for multipule desktops, associating a Scribble file with each open desktop would be pretty cool, but its not a necessity. Keep up the good work!
