Not 100% on the update

I still do love to play but there are a lot of things I think need changing now it’s been updated,
Things are way too expensive to buy like the minions the pods the upgrades, I only say this because you don’t receive the bananas you get when you do a run like you did before, you only get bananas when you complete a level or open a prize pod, and you still don’t get a lot, also once you finish a level the option to watch a video to double your bananas is still available and you don’t receive them, for example I ran and collect 1,000 bananas you don’t receive any of them you don’t even get half but the video is still available to watch to collect double wot h needs to be changed, I think the game needs to let you keep the bananas you collect or put the price down for stuff! I don’t see the point in some of the minions as there power ups are to collect double bananas or hoover but I don’t see the point in using them useless you need them to complete a mission because you don’t receive the bananas you collect, witch is very frustrating as I could get over 2,000 then I complete and get like 300. Very disappointing

Too much has changed…

Over the past few years, I have watched this great game turn into a pretty bad app which aims towards making money. Why are there tickets for the main part of the game? Before the massive update, you could grind through the levels for as long as you wanted - now you can only do a couple missions until the tickets refill. Most of the the characters are impossible to get because the rewards from prize pods are unbelievable. Why on Earth do I have to spend hundreds of well earned tokens, just so I can ‘hope’ to get something worthwhile? Even if you spend all your tokens on the prize pods, you’re still taking a very big gamble because the chances of getting the featured epic card is very low. Things like events and some power-ups were removed which is a huge change to the game. Without events, it became much harder to obtain the prize pods which (beforehand) you would get for winning an online event race. People who spent money on the game before the update have actually lost their money as well as their progress; just like the rest of us. If Gameloft introduced this new update as a new game, like Minion Rush 2, then none of this would have happened. Loads of people would not have left the game.

It’s all about money

This was one of my favorite games a few years ago. I could play for hours on end, no interruptions, no restrictions. Lately I’ve really been hating mobile games because of all the ads and forced purchases on those games so I decided to come back to this game. After I played the tutorial everything seemed fine then it happened I got an ad, like no option to turn it off kind off ad, I didn’t think much about it because people need to be paid but they didn’t stop. The second I would complete a level it would cut out the whole completed screen and just show me an ad for some stupid mobile game. I genuinely felt like crying when a I found out that this game was now just a money making pit of ads. A game I once loved now just a money making ad broadcaster.

If this review gets to any of the developers, please please, bring back the minion rush we loved. No ads, no overpriced in app purchases, don’t join the garbage pile that is 2022 mobile games. Thank you for reading.
