DHL Express Mobile App 4+

The app has improved from what it was, but is still horrendously slow on start up. It’s also poor at offering assistance with other DHL tracking numbers considering the vast amount of sending/tracking options they have.

Consolidation of tracking would be better because the number of different services looks like they have far too many legacy systems that can’t talk to each other.

DHL’s tracking system is designed only to show delivery to their major depositories like Heathrow airport. This makes it impossible to see where your parcel is either online or through their ap. Their GPS system also doesn’t work so they can’t track their drivers movements. I recently ordered from a shop that used DHL as their courier. My package was delivered to a completely different block of flats than mine to some other address and they have posted a photo of someone at that address which they can’t identify with an open door as proof the package was delivered to me. It’s been two weeks since that delivery occurred to the wrong person. Despite them saying they would investigate there has been no resolution because they can’t find the package. Customer service is also poor. They told me if they were unable to find the package after 3 days they would initiate an insurance claim for a refund but they haven’t taken any action to resolve this and it’s been more than 5 days. Choose any other shipping method than DHL if you can when ordering goods

If not better then Royal Mail with tracking and redirecting function operability I really like how DHL provide you with the necessary essential delivery information!, unlike others that leave in you in the lurch loop to manage and organise deliveries which for someone living in a locked compound that needs to arrange deliveries is essential!, believe me as I work in logistics myself as a food delivery bicycle courier some of the service I have received is shocking to say the least so seeing a company invest in a decent application and delivery experience is great to see as a few times things have just been dumped in communal halls after being promised tracking on expensive iPhones and such
