The 0-1 star reviews for this app are well deserved!
Like other customers, I too was told by the app that my parcel would arrive between 8am and 8pm. I regularly checked the app and the graphic showed the van supposedly getting closer to my address. I checked at 7.45pm and then again at 8pm. At 8pm the app is now telling me my parcel will be delivered tomorrow. An email or a text would have sufficed! I’m sure by 7.45pm the driver would have known that they would not be able to make the delivery time. But no the company reschedules your order at 8pm on the dot. Because that’s when their phone lines close, done so that you cannot complain on the day of original delivery. Tomorrow is the day my complaint will be made verbally.
P.s my dealings with dhl were forced because of the 3rd party company sender. If I had a choice, after reading the very true reviews would NEVER use them by choice! I’m going to also call the third party and let them know of the terrible service from dhl, for such a well know brand the third party should be using a better delivery service than dhl.

absolutely useless for tracking. website showed item out for delivery with 10 stops to go. app said delivery tomorrow but then different section said out for delivery today but also showed it as at depot at 7:06am with no further info except as above. So totally unreliable - just like their delivery service. No customer ‘service’ after 8pm conveniently the latest time my delivery was supposed to arrive. So having stayed in all day for a delivery that hasn’t arrived I now have to take another day off on the offchance it will arrive tomorrow. No notification of any delay. The website got stuck for an hour on stop 124 so perhaps the driver actually went home - who knows? Certainly not their tracking tools. Congratulations you have succeeded in confirming, after a similar experience last week, that DHL is totally incompetent

Second time I’ve downloaded the DHL app because I have a delivery scheduled. I changed my phone recently and I’m running the most recent iOS software. Unfortunately, after inputting my parcel information, the moment I leave the app, it crashes and I have to re-input the tracking number again. It just isn’t good enough. Also, I was unable to reuse my previous email because the DHL app reported my previous email already existed and it won’t let me reuse it so I’ve had the inconvenience of using another email address.

I’m afraid DHL, when customers tell you your app is poor or whatever other words to define this cobblers app, they’re not being kind! There are problems with the app so acknowledge it and own it and get your developers to sit down and reimagine it. Your competitors apps are so much better.
