DIS diary is an app provided to registered users of Driving Instructor Services. This app will let you manage your diary and pupils via your mobile device, while updating the information to the DIS server making the information available to call operators and potential pupils booking on your website. Some key features include alternating your diary between day and week view, checking pupil balances, entering payments, booking appointments and sending and receiving messages. The app also allows you to use it while having no signal, updating when you re-connect.

Synchronisation problem

This app has a synchronisation problem, if connected to WiFi everything is fine , but fail to syncs when on 3g and 4g. Otherwise it works fine

Good app needs a few tweeks, would be nice to swipe messages to delete and the payment page at the end of the lesson the payment button does not work and it does not ask you to rebook the pupil? Also when changing test dates it will not let you amend the dates so it has to be deleted and a new test date put in, same moving lessons any chance of being able to move them using dates rather than deleting?

For many years I have run driving schools and been involved with the driving industry. I speak to many instructors who do not use the DIS and I am shocked how stressful their life's are. I can organise and run many instructors all from my phone.This means I can always be contacted even when I am in a lesson as any callers details are text directly to me, I know exactly what my customers have spent, all tests are booked for me and if bad weather or strikes change them they are automatically updated in my diary. If you run a multi car school then this software becomes even more amazing, allowing you to change prices in busy postcodes to updating how your customers feel about your services via an in built text service, plus many more reports and services that I do not have the time to go into on here.As long as I run a driving school I will never be without the DIS and this app makes it perfect.So if you are interested in increasing profit and cutting down on stress you should give this system a go.

At last! The DIS finally have an App to replace the old site on the phone. It is much, much quicker and doesn’t seem to have the slow loading issues of the old site, which means you can operate it quickly as you do your lessons. No longer do I have to wait until I get home to insert my lessons, which means that it is bang up to date immediately a lesson finishes, and no-one else can book a slot that I have already agreed with a pupil, but not yet inserted! Excellent!
