Tonnes of fun :D

I’m totally new to the whole turn-based fighting game scene, but I think that Dislyte has been a really good introduction to it. It’s pretty straight forwards and, while some things aren’t explained overly well, I can understand it easily. The music and art style is what originally pushed me to download it from the ads I’d seen and I was absolutely not disappointed. The character designs are amazing and makes me really want to draw them. The background music isn’t really my style but it works so well in the game that I actually really enjoy it. You can also tell that they care about their players. There’s start up packs and options to review espers to let other people know what they think of them in a fighting context. Additionally, you never run out of things to do. There’s a DJ mini game, trials, story mode and other things. I don’t think that’s there’s anything that you need to leave for a bit to keep playing, but even if there is, there would still be something to do. Generally very enjoyable and hard to put down. 10/10 would recommend.

75 day + review

After playing this game for 75 days. I can confidently say that it’s not worth it because at a certain point in the game any form of progress you make drops to a crawl but you’re crawling without hands. Like your typical phone game once you reach a certain point the people who made the game make it clear that if you don’t become a whale and start spending money on the game then you might as well get left in the dust of the people who spend money. Upgrading your abilities for legendaries is literally only possible once a week for free to play, meaning that it can take you 15 weeks to fully upgrade one legendary espers abilities in the later parts of this game. However, if you walk into the shop you can cut that 15 weeks down to probably no time at all. In addition, most esper progression items and materials are shoved into the typical rng processor so that you keep going at it hoping for that rng to be on your side. Finally the spins to get espers is pretty much against you if you’re free to play, but if you spend money your chances of getting stronger espers is bumped up by a lot and I have seen that happen when a friend spent money on the game and just magically attained gods right hand. In conclusion, play this game at your own risk or take my advice and just don’t play it at all because it is not worth to play something built on the concept of rng and I wanna take all of your money.

Fun and enjoying start!

Most games would have a long introduction and lots of information to try and remember…. It this game it gets straight to the point, puts you into action! I love the generous gacha system, I grinded and got 10 pulls and managed to pull out a gold and purple esper! The auto-play for farming level-up material is brilliant. I love levelling characters but sometimes I don’t have the time to just sit down and farm is manually, so while on my feet around the house I can plot auto-mission on and it will clear 10/10 battles to gain more materials!
All of the characters are diverse and beautifully created, the cultural diversity as well! Don’t even get me started!
Just a genially fun game to play!

One note though, doesn’t affect gameplay at all, just the visuals. Playing on an iPad, like mine gen 8 makes these black barriers on each side of my game. Perhaps having a screen size adjustment to fit different screen sizes would give the game more of a completed look (to those playing on devices with larger screens)
