◆ Story ◆
Darkness converges upon us, and the world crumbles before our very eyes…
What was once a sanctuary for the weary has now become a battlefield.
Long ago, the deities Spiritus and Materia warped the fabric of time and space to create a new world—a world they populated with warriors from other realms.
These men and women were forced to fight day and night without reprieve, and the strain of endless battle soon grew to be too great.
With battered bodies and shattered spirits, they sent out a cry for help…

This is hands down the best final fantasy game on mobile device there is. Way better than brave exvius (this is just my opinion) and mobius, and record keeper. Being able to play with all of the main cast of characters, heroes and villains, is a pleasure, new content and characters are always being released, the battles are honouring the old school turn taking system. It’s absolutely amazing.
If you’re a final fantasy fan it is a must, a little bit of a learning curve but so worth it, and often the grind here and there for levelling up but we are always rewarded.
As a daily player. DEVS IF YOU READ THIS: content, as a daily player we need more a little quicker, sure for beginners they need a chance. I don’t know what to suggest to balance that.. give new players a load of x2 books to level up quick as a new player reward like 50 books, and release content a little quicker, help new players draw better weapons for the first few banner pulls to help them get stuck in
But it’s up to the player to learn the game and mechanics and not whale on pulls.
Anyway, great game. Can’t wait for more content and keep it up!
So when it comes to mobile games, I never really play them much. Get the game, play for a few days and delete.
This is due to either boring gameplay, being repetitive, constant grinding and pay to win walls by summons or extra items.
This game however still has me coming back after nearly a year of playing.
Fun turn based combat with surprisingly great graphics and battery life.
Grinding which isn’t a chore to do or boring.
And a summoning mechanic which not only is fair to everyone, but easy to access through challenges, daily rewards, and rewards for just playing.
Summons are done to obtain weapons for characters you unlock by playing which can be upgraded easily.
The characters are unlocked through story or events don’t require Rng summons and anyone can use them.
The online service is also great as you can play with actual people... REAL LIFE PEOPLE.
The only issue I have is that it is not any easy task to max out everyone (due to the sheer size) and having to download each level you select separately which can take up time.
Along with that this is exclusively online so you can’t play this everywhere, but it is understandable why.
Overall a great game that is fun and fair but needs an active online connection to play and takes up a lot of time downloading content for new players.
When you think App Games, you think barely veiled adverts, masquerading as games.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is not just the longest name an app game has ever had, it’s almost easily the most generous app game I’ve ever played. All the characters are available for free, and the only RNG element is pulling weapons. However, even if you have really bad luck, they have fallback elements, allowing you to just BUY the weapons, if your luck falls through.
I’ve been playing for a few months now, and have a full team of heroes, all maxed out. I’ve not paid a penny, and have plenty of resources left, to max out other characters, when they’re released.
