Dogo - Dog Training & Clicker 4+

Have had our 2 year old rescue dog for just over 6 months whose never been socialised, hardly knew her name and was only just settled enough to start training. She’s very reactive to other dogs, doesn’t know how to walk nicely on a lead, very nervous of moving objects etc so I knew she needed all the basic puppy behaviour training even though she was older and this app has been amazing! Within a week we had noticed just how much more attentive she was to us, she wouldn’t even give eye contact before and is now progressing really well. Using a clicker has made a huge amount of difference to her. Our dog behaviour trainer has also noticed the difference in her. I personally haven’t done the exams but I’m very honest about her ability after each exercise and she loves the repetition of activities. We are going slowly but surely with the basic training programme although some activities she does anyway such as putting on a lead nicely etc so it would be nice to have the ability to skip unnecessary ones especially for slightly older dogs or to have the option of ticking off things they can already do before the programme starts. I’m really keen to follow the reactive programme when that becomes available. Having a specific rescue dog programme would be amazing too! I’ve recommended the app to a number of friends so thank you!

I've had this app for a good couple of days now doing practicing with my dog helping her every step of learning commands it also has exams where you film your dog doing the exam's task like sit. The exam is reviewed by an professional if they decide your dog is ready to move on the user will get a notification that they have passed it and they will unlock new tricks and a comment from the examiner of things to improve on like if you have multiple dogs separate them and let the one who's being examined focus. If they fail there will be an banner when you go on the app that says "Exam Rejected" if you click on retry exam there will be and banner too that says "Message from trainer" tap it and the person who viewed the video will say why they rejected it so that sums it up definitely worth a download helped me and my darling dog

This is a great app and I would definitely recommend it. My dog is called Otis, he’s a Beagle. With this app I’ve managed to teach him so much- and I’m extremely surprised that I managed to teach him roll over! It is the best dog training app available. You can even get training programs and there’s one when you can train your new puppy!

However, there are a few issues I have noticed in the app. First, it’s just so much money you have to pay to buy Dogo Pro! I really think that it should be cheaper, since you have to pay over £100 for a yearly one! Second, the new update is really annoying, because you can’t post all your pictures because their “ too small “. This is very annoying, so please change it back so that we can post any picture we want. Finally, I have noticed that loads of people are asking for likes. It says that there should be no asking for likes in the challenges. I think that Dogo needs to take action with this and remind the people that asking for likes is wrong.

Overall, I definitely recommend this app. I have rated it 4 stars because of the issues I have noticed. Thank you for making an amazing app!

We recommend to keep an eye on special seasonal promos when you can get the premium version in a lower prize 🙂. As for picture size, nothing was changed in the latest release. Please make sure it is not screenshots you are publishing but photos taken by the camera. If there is still a problem, please contact us at info@dogo.app. We are aware of the community issues. We updated the community rules and introduced a pop-up reminder message that like for like is not allowed. It is true though that there are many users who still don't follow the rules. We are doing our best to regularly check published entries however we don't have resources to review every single one. There is an option for all users to report comments and entries that are against the rules. This way, we can react faster. Please be informed that we will take appropriate measures in the nearest future.
