Great app except for when paying
Ordering food through the app is really simple and easy. However from an iPad you have to go into your account to upload your address as it doesn’t store from the last time. It also tells you that you have no Internet connection and to retry even though I have, this happens every time. Using the app on iPhone is even worse it doesn’t let you pay!
New payment authorisation needs work
I normally pay by PayPal but decided foolishly to pay by my bank card. It looped me into an authorisation screen which required me to go and get my phone out, log into the banks App then authorise the payment. This I did, all correctly on the app (despite the faff and poor user experience) only to then be told the authorisation failed due to incorrect details. They were clearly correct on the banks app and linked to my account. I went back to paying with PayPal and now have the joy of waiting to see whether I get charged twice.
Please go back to the Process map on this one the e-2-e journey isn’t good and you are adding unnecessary pain points to anyone not ordering via their mobile.
Ok to use but missing key features
Picking food/ordering is fairly straightforward but the app is lacking in some key areas. Firstly, some minor things - the pizza tracker has never synced properly with the order/store once food has been ordered. Also: often the order and the tracker disappear completely if you minimise the app after a certain period of time which is inconvenient. However the main issue with the app is the need for customers to retype their name address etc every time an order is placed. Via the website you can login to an account where these details are stored - there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this here. A good layout/ordering system but some basic functionality elements are missing.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
