Brilliant, speeds up downloads so much
I am unlucky enough to have a super slow, like SUPER slow, internet connection at my home. We’re talking in the tens of kilobits per second.
Anyway, this app helps me reduce 6+ hour downloads to within an hour, it works incredibly well! Pretty much magic.
My only wish is that it were able to change the system settings so it worked on every download, not just the links you pass to it. E.g. at the moment I perform most downloads like normal, just click on download in my browser.
However, if I know the file is gonna be big, I copy+paste the link into download shuttle and it downloads it really quickly. However, copy+pasting across the link takes a few moments and distracts me from my workflow (even though it is extremely easy)
I wish download shuttle changed some system settings or whatever so it was the default downloader for everything
would give it 0 stars if I could
downloaded 140GB over 14hrs. Then waited for it to "finalise" the file for a couple of hours before it wiped the file and started again... same thing happened again. Deleted app.
Can't download anything
Many times i treied to download from different sources; but every times this downloader does not support to download the content/video.
