Description
The hunt for Dracula continues in this blood-curdling adventure
THE ADVENTURE
Jonathan Harker returns in triumph from Transylvania after he saves Mina. But he can't rest for long--Dracula has followed him up to London.
He's now determined to hunt down the Count wherever he goes, so he can finish him off once and for all.
He won't be as alone in this quest this time . . . but he will have to deal with even more difficult traps and enemies.
His quest begins in Dracula's last known hideout: The deserted country house of Carfax . . .

Good game! Can be boring if your stuck!!
I really enjoyed this game & I did play it again. But it is quite annoying if your stuck. First of all you need to keep remembering to combine your inventory items. Secondly, it's so bloody hard to find hidden objects on the floor or walls!! So you keep having to scroll around the screen making you dizzy!! Can be boring too.
And by the way for those who are complaining about not able to kill bill in sewers with glasses & gun, have you all tried combining the "gun" with the "anti-vampire lotion?" That's how you kill him. You don't need to aim for the blood stain. This even worked on my iPhone 3GS & this was nearly 2 years ago. Now playing with my iPhone 5, everything else is fine. But I still have to keep tapping really hard to pick up objects. It doesn't seem to work at first sometimes. A good game if you really into this type.

No crashes for me, worked fine all the way through to the end (I was playing on iPad 1 with fully updated iOS).
As to the game itself, it works really well on iPad. The puzzles have been simplified from the PSone and PC versions, which is good for somebody like me who is new to the point and click (or point and tap) genre, but players of those original versions might be disappointed with the scaling back of the puzzles. Also the cut-scene recapping the end of the first game is missing, but really, it isn't needed since the first game is also now available on iPad.
Other than that, the game is intact, and unlike 'Dracula Resurrection' and 'Dracula - Path of the Dragon' which have been split into three parts each on iPad, this second entry in the Dracula series has been left as one entire game, and it's all the better for it.
Overall, playing this on iPad has been a good experience. If any more older games like this are released on iPad, then I'd love to see 'NECRONOMICON - THE DAWNING OF DARKNESS' get a new lease of life and given the same treatment as 'Dracula - The Last Sanctuary' for iPad. Go on, make it happen!
New update is great.
The new update fixes many bugs including the freezing & the missing oil can.
Thanks to the above reviewer for the clue on how to kill Bill in the sewers - am happily enjoying the game again.
