Description

Get on your path to career success. Welcome to Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame app, Dream.Plan.Succeed. The app features augmented reality and interactivity to help middle school and high school students start planning for their future careers.

Download Dream.Plan.Succeed and visit the Evansville Museum to experience the augmented reality aspects of the app. At the Museum, student visitors will:
• Learn about career options based on the school subjects that you like most.
• Ask important financial questions and get answers from Evansville’s civic and business leaders.
• Learn how obstacles and failures will be encountered on your professional career path but that they don’t have to stop you from being successful.

When not at the museum, students are encouraged to select “Business Success Stories” from the app’s main menu to meet and learn about the most interesting, hard-working and successful business people in the Evansville community. These are the Laureates of Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame, which was established jointly by Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana Board of Directors and the Evansville Business Journal (EBJ) in March of 2006. Individuals are nominated to become Laureates for their outstanding civic and business contributions to the Southwestern Indiana area.

Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana gives young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.

Through the use of this app, Southwestern Indiana students will learn about their community’s outstanding history of entrepreneurship, as they plan for their own careers. A variety of career areas of interest are explored as they relate to the students, the Laureates and Southwestern Indiana careers.

Augmented reality triggers for this app can be found at the Evansville’s Regional Business Hall of Fame Exhibit at the Evansville Museum.
