Drest: Fashion Styling Game 4+

I have wanted to be a designer for a long time now and spent years searching for a game which is actually good and I can use to come up with relevant on-trend looks and DREST is the app that does this by using pieces from internationally renowned fashion houses you are using garment which are fashionable and can help you to develop a signature style you can recognise. I also really like the still life’s and feels like you are creating a real life magazine spread if they fixed I couple of minor things on my page it will be the best app ever.

This game is everything you could wish for, and I’m so glad I heard about it! Unfortunately though, I’ve encountered quite a few issues now, and they seem to be appearing more frequently than in the past. Just today I’ve noticed a challenge ‘bling ring’ being offered to me, despite my having already entered it. I’ve also just done one where the suggested location wasn’t available to choose, which is something I see quite a lot. It’s also annoying when one of the ‘check boxes’ items you are required to use in order to submit your look, doesn’t actually bring up the right things. For example I entered a challenge today which required a ‘green dress piece’ and ‘sandals’. The sandals box only bought up ten or so pairs to choose from. I always make sure that I have gone into settings and synced/updated the most recent stuff, so it’s definitely an app issue. In fairness the in-app support is super quick and efficient, but these errors are frustrating nonetheless. Still won’t stop me playing though! ✨

I love this game! I’ve played many fashion games beforehand and even studied fashion at university and manage to enjoy this game plenty! In the end this is the only fashion game I have left downloaded and I still enjoy it as much as the first day I got it! It allows you to be creative whilst giving a little guidance! Now they’ve updated the game, I enjoy that instead of getting random pieces as prizes, we can now get hairstyles, locations and makeup as prizes too, this saves the users from having to pay for them, and using the same old hair and location constantly!

There are a few things I think could do with adding to the game to improve playability. Possibly a filter items button where you can see the items you own that are unworn, as it can get quite tedious trying to find or remember specific items you know you have bought/won and haven’t worn yet.

Possibly more models? I know you can pay to unlock real life models, but a few more free ones that you don’t have to pay for would be nice.

Also, possibly making the entry payment a little higher, as to hit some of the entry requirements for challenges, the pieces alone can be £2000 game coins, and yet you’re only receiving 500 for entering. I know before it used to be a little higher and I think this could help players who can’t afford to pay irl money for the game, this making them be able to enjoy playing more challenges.
