This app is very good at raising your awareness of the consequences of bad decisions when driving. I like that you can use it with a VR headset with it or you have the choice not to use it.

I recommend that people use the app to help make their driving more risk free.

Great app for teens

I have 2 teenage boys...one new to driving. This App has a good use of VR and got the conversation going on the impact of reckless driving...the fact this app got a conversation going with my teenage boys is an achievement in itself! Clearly there are drivers of all ages who take risks...this app shows the devastating effects. Highly recommend downloading this app and get the conversations going with the teenagers and young drivers, in your lives!

Pointless App

The app itself is well made but the concept is pointless. Who is the target audience for this app? It asks you stupid questions like "you have smoked drugs, do you now drive.. yes or no?" I don't think there is one person on the planet that wouldn't know the risks of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I can assure you people who do smoke drugs and drive will never download this app to "find out what happens" they will just do it, rendering this app pointless. Instead of the App Store you should sell this app to an organisations like TCC Group who conduct speed awareness courses for people who have been caught doing something they shouldn't.

DriveVR was commissioned by the Safer Roads Partnership, part of Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police and warns of the consequences of dangerous driving. The app, produced in consultation with young drivers, is delivered by the Safer Roads team in schools, colleges and universities as part of their road safety education programme. The aim of DriveVR is to prevent road traffic collisions before they happen and has been released on the app stores for download after the workshops, as well as to benefit the wider community.
