Superb drone creator for Dark Ambient, if only…
…it had some built in way to export recordings. Given this hasn’t been updated for a loooooong time, I have no expectation that the dev is suddenly going to release an AUV3 version - or even an IAA version, so: it is what it is. Fortunately it still runs on my latest 14.1 IOS, and I can capture it as a screen recording and use AudioShare to strip out the audio as a wav loop, so, not the end of the world.
But, oh, the potential here… I love that you can go as low as 1 bpm, so many apps seem to think 20 bpm, or even 40 bpm is as slow as anyone ever wants to go (they are wrong.)
And I can imagine a new shiny version where you can load up your own loops into the instrument slots, fiddle with/sequence the sliders via midi, Ableton link sync the slow evolutions to other devices, and, most of all, have it running inside AUM as an AUV3.
But - apparently not. Still, it is the best £2.49 I’ve spent on an app in a long time. Long may it stagger on in splendid isolation! :)
Promising but needs export options
Sounds great but badly in need of some way to use the sounds outside of the program, like Audio copy and paste, WAV file export to iTunes or even just multitasking audio that keeps playing once you switch to another app.
Doesn’t work
Downloaded, press play, nothing happens.
Reset to factory defaults, press play, nothing!
