Druid Oracle Cards 12+

My iPhone has a small screen, but I still find the illustrations detailed and the text readable. I own the animal oracle deck in physical format, and while I do prefer holding the cards in my hand (they are larger than my phone), the convenience of the app can’t be beaten. The interface is a little dated-looking, but it’s not enough of a hindrance to remove a whole star. This is a reasonably priced app, which includes the plant cards as well as the animal cards, and it complements the physical deck(s) well. Lately, I have been using it when I wind down before sleep. It never fails to offer something worth contemplating, and I can usually see the relevance of the message to my day ahead.

Although I prefer the animal set, (I have the physical set too) this app also includes the plant set. You may use whichever you favour or even blend them. The artwork is stunning and obeys rules of sacred geometry. Look once, then look again, many details are seen only with a second look. These are not traditional tarot format, but the text is as richly detailed as the design, including the myths and legends behind the totems as well as the meanings.

This is yet another fantastic app by the Fools Dog. I’ve used the Wildwood tarot app regularly for a while now and love that too. This is great value with two great packs combined to create a very usable resource. There are some excellent spreads suggested and the cards are beautiful with lots of additional information about the history and traditions. Very happy with this, highly recommended.
