Still have to tap to log in. Every time. Crazy.Dis/charge schedules are unreliable and there’s no way to know whether they’ll happen /they’re happening if you set them to run shortly in the future. Despite the big pdf link various things aren’t well explained. Power cut mode failed to turn off, the first time I used it - battery stayed at 100% for 24 hours and everything drew from import even though the toggle was turned off again.Live usage monitoring isnt actually live is it. It’s every few minutes but doesn’t say when the last data was. Not sure what the refresh button is for?! Doesn’t do anything.I actually really want the totals to be on the main summary screen. The data totals going missing / wrong for several weeks of recalculation was a huge booboo that absolutely was unacceptable. Don’t try that again!Really want conditional schedules. Eg export at 6pm from my battery but not if it’s already below 50%. import at 3pm if im below 60%. Would be so helpful if schedules worked in % or kwh rather than manually working out wattage and time. Simpler for the devs but more difficult to use. Poor UX. tiny tap targets too; awkward on small iphone let alone accessibility issues for those with poorer sight.But there isnt another app is there :) So we’ll keep dropping feedback here and maybe one day they’ll listen to these and not just the project demands from management.Pretty frustrated at this point sorry guys! 🙃 Happy to have a more constructive chat but there doesn’t seem to be a channel for that

How can you make an app to monitor things that can’t even get simple calculations right? Things never add up as they should, are clearly incorrect (compared to the true export and usage I can see in the Octopus app), and in some cases are so badly wrong it is beyond belief (how can export for week, month, year be lower than for the day? So they actually do any tests before releasing “updates”?) In the live part the energy use shows 0 most of the time which is obviously also incorrect. It makes me wonder how the system can function if this information is used to decide when to take energy from solar, battery or grid? This poor app will eventually harm sales of Duracell batteries. I would not recommend to anyone unless they put some proper effort into a properly functioning app.

Our system (inverter and battery) has been in almost 12 months. Pros: The hardware is very good. Any issues/queries have been resolved or answered swiftly as the support team at Duracell have been excellent. Cons: Other people’s reviews capture the majority of my thoughts but a few additional points. The app is not fit for purpose currently despite a number of updates being made over the last few months. As we are approaching 12 months with our solar system installed, we’d like to drill into the data to understand our usage to allow us to optimise our energy set up to maximise savings from the system. The data being displayed in the Duracell app has a number of issues which make it unreliable (app updates cause some of the historic data to be wiped, numbers don’t add up or reconcile with overall usage and different sections of the app will display different data despite looking at the same parameter and timescale - to name a few things). As a result, we’ve had a couple of third party CT clamps fitted at various points in the solar infrastructure so that we can get reliable data. We’ve also encountered issues with the controls on our system, having difficulty creating and amending schedules to align with day/night tariff changes. Sadly, we are now exploring our options to replace the inverter with an alternative which has a more proven app experience.

Update for latest version:You’ve added a login captcha process that does not work. It is not totally unusableI was asked to install this app along with the Dura-i app to manage my Duracell inverter and battery. The dura-i is great for monitoring and this app is ok for setting the charge/discharge times. Sadly it doesn’t work with my car charger - there is just a greyed out icon where it could at least know what the charger is drawing if it worked - my installer did not know how? Or maybe did not want? To connect them. Another sad thing is when you schedule a discharge session there is no more control - you cannot stop the discharge to prevent or abandon a session. Neither can i stop it discharging manually when the car charger is working. My Ohme charger frequently decides to use the pv panels to charge the car but cannot distinguish the battery. In this day and age integration should be easier!There have also been one or two occasions where what i presume is a bug in the interface - I reprogram the discharge and stop it as it appears on the app but the inverter goes ahead anyway and flattens the battery. Very frustrating as I’m paying 27p for peak electricity and 7 for off peak when either the timed discharge or the Ohme flattens the battery and I’m left using peak time electricity.It is a bit frustrating to need 2 separate apps to run the system - plus a third for my Ohme charger provided with the car with no integration between them. It would be great if there were a way to export the data for analysis on a computer
