Unimpressed - doesn't work

Bought this as I saw it recommended in a review of photo editiors for Mac. It doesn't work with the current version of photos. The instructions on how to use the app aren't applicable to the current version of Photos, but I worked out how to open the picture I wasnted to edit in this app, only to get the message "Sorry your image seems not to be supported :(".
Don't waste your money on this! I'm annoyed to have wasted £9.99 on an app which really shouldn't be on the app store if it doesn't work

Still working and Very useful

Despite the problems reported by others I am able to use the app in macOS Ventura - on an M2 Mac Mini - with no problems.
The error concerning unsupported images is probably an HEIC format file, or other similarly arcane type. JPG and RAW do work (for me).
The DXO editing suite can be accessed from Photos when in it's own Edit mode. Select the circle with three dots in it, top-right of the Photos menu and select DXO OpticsPro etc.

Cannot get the edit window to open

Set up the extension permission, however, when I am in photos app and click to edit an image, only the photo editing screen appears. There is no DxO screen. I also tried right clicking on the image to select "open with" and there is no DxO option to open it... So either I have missed some important step or something isnt working... So work I wanted to edit today could not be done and I have emailed support to find out the solution so await feedback
